I have been working on a weird hippy trippy blanket for middle daughter, she requested a 'hippy on speed' throw for her bed as a keep it and pass down thing,it is made of lots of odd sized, odd shaped pieces,it has become large enough that sewing it together is problematic,so I had started sewing pieces to a backing fabric and making shapes to fill the gaps etc.........

This morning I discovered a dead well chewed mouse beneath the crochet on the backing fabric....I somehow have to wash this thing to remove the blood stains and mouse poop, how on earth I will achieve this without it falling apart I don't know,

Where is that damned cat hiding? I will find him.

Evil cat........are you going to use some sort of stain remover first? It's a lovely blanket, though. good way to use up your wool.
The cat obviously wanted to leave his mark on what will become the family heirloom. In future years your great-great-grandchildren can say "... and that's where the cat chewed up a mouse ..."
The throw looks lovely. I hope it washes well.
Well it has come clean, not sure how the shape will be affected until it is dry.
Glad it came clean , and love the blanket But how do you find time to do it ?
