Is it international blood and gore day ?

Well Cleo the cross-dressing hen has now decided to become a stripper,she is in the most major moult I have ever seen,I have seen newly saved battery hens with more feathers.
Now the gore bit,I got out of bed this morning and almost stepped in a headless mouse obviously very deceased.........walked onto the landing and tripped over a very dead and chewed baby collared dove. I got to work this morning to do the post dinner party laundry,all the white linen,except there is a problem with the plumbing and the washing machine is sucking up yucky slime from the outlet pipe..........Now for the gory bit,which I am putting after the jump as it is really a woman thing and delicate boys might not want to read...........


All my life I have had major problems with Menorrhagia (very heavy periods),well we found a sort of cure,the doc,bless her socks,put me on a mini-pill and it worked wonders,then I started having hot flushes and assumed that that combined with no bleeding whatsoever for seven months meant menopause.I was quite happy about this.So I came off the pill,only to discover that the red tide has returned with a vengeance,bearing in mind you officially have heavy periods if you need more than two towels or tampons in a day,I have been using way more than this in an hour.so I trogged off to the docs again and had a good chat with her,in fact when asked for the gory details,I politely told her that if I sat on the sink I would sound like a dripping tap and that if she didn't prescribe I would have to go the wise old woman route and dig up and make tea with dubious roots......She very kindly wrote me a script for norethisterone tablets,to be taken until bleeding stops and then a script to go back on the mini pill for a while.
