Being a bit on the heavy side at the moment I have decided to watch what I eat for a while.
Do you know how deadly dull cottage cheese is? or toast without lashings of butter..........
I may however have found the answer,I have a rash of plums ripe at the moment so if I eat enough of them, nothing will stay in my tum long enough for me to get any calories .
My chickens however are not on a diet, having already eaten my lettuces, tomatoes and potato tops they snuck in the greenhouse earlier and ate a bell pepper plant.
Talking of eating,I saw on the beeb that a new species of pitcher plant has been found,it is so big it eats rats ! that's only two steps away from being a triffid if you ask me.Linky
The chickens and bantams are laying well,so I have no shortage of protein,no lettuce, peppers, pots or toms to go with them though, can you make a plum omelette?Ok because I am a bit daft I googled it,you really do get plum omelette recipes Linky
Right that's it I am off to stare lovingly at the real cheese in the fridge.

Interesting article re the pitcher plant.
When you look at that real cheese just remember, it is full of saturated fats - yuck!
Afraid I am addicted to "real" cheese too :-)
